congratulations
May 14th, 2009I got to do the following arrangements for my friend Jessica this past weekend. She was throwing a party for her husband who just graduated from seminary. Congratulations Caleb!!

I love the containers Jess chose for her flowers. The green pitcher with the grape design and the matching green urn are absolutely lovely and go perfectly with the flowers!

I LOVE the idea of using vintage tea tins as vases. You’ll probably be seeing more of this on violetopus.com.

Flowers!
May 11th, 2009
A house full of flowers is one of my favorite things about being a florist, even if it’s only full for a day. I especially love when I get to keep the left over flowers from a client’s arrangement!

“New England charm”
I’ve been using a lot of lilacs lately since they’re in season. The combination of purple Lilacs and green Bells of Ireland is striking.
