Hi! I’m Lisa. I have loved working with flowers since I was a kid. I remember walking around my Mom’s garden and picking flowers to bring in to arrange as a centerpiece. When there weren’t enough options there, I would grab a basket and walk along the country roads where I lived picking wildflowers and greens. My Mom was always encouraging and found something positive to say about my arrangements even when they were made of dandelions and rhododendrons. Her encouragement inspired me to keep working with flowers even if my options were limited and sparked a certain enjoyment in thinking outside the box….or vase.
Even earlier than my love for flowers my love for music became a driving passion. I come from a very musical family and have had the privilege of being involved in church music from a very early age. My Dad is a faithful and talented music pastor and was my first music teacher in elementary school, my choir teacher throughout high school and my constant encourager to grow and excel. His love for music, passion for learning, and encouragement of me was an important factor in my decision to pursue singing and a music major in college. I now enjoy a vital music ministry with my wonderful husband in our church.
To me, arranging flowers is like composing a song – the vase is the key signature, the flowers sing the melody and the colors build the harmony. I find that working with flowers is a wonderful way for me to bring two things I love together in a unique way.

I’d love to compose flowers for your special occasion or event. Contact me for a quote.
